PRESSED CHAIR

Pressed Chair is a light, stackable metal chair stamped out of a 2.5mm aluminum sheet. The value of the design excels in the intent of creating a piece out of one single material without any joints or connectors. The precise analysis of form, material choices, bearing capacity, and 2 and 3-dimensional considerations in the execution and application of the piece have produced an extremely light (2200g), emotionally simple, and timelessly elegant design. Furthermore, the manufacturing produces no waste material and is 100% recyclable. Aluminum is the most commonly present metal in the earth’s crust, notable for its corrosion resistance and unlimited reuse.
